How To Find Us
Marchmont play their games at Cavalry Park (Duddingston Playing Grounds, off Duddingston Road West) which is situated on the south side of Edinburgh, in the shadows of Arthur's Seat. It is also not far from Hollyrood Park containing Hollyrood Palace, the Royal residence of Edinburgh.
From the North (From Forth Road Bridge)
After crossing The Forth Road Bridge follow the A90 through South Queensferry. Keep following it until you reach the Barnton roundabout. At the roundabout, go straight through and down the Queensferry Road. Keep following this road, it will eventually turn into Hillhouse Road and then back into the Queensferry Road. Keep going until you hit Princes Street, then again go straight down Lothian Road. At the 3rd set of traffic lights, head down Melville Drive. Follow the curve round past the Meadows on your left and cross straight through Hope Park, Clerk Street and Bernard Terrace. Turn right at the bottom of Bernard Terrace and down Dalkieth Road. At the bottom of Dalkeith Road at the roundabout turn left into Perffermill Road and the next set of traffic lights, tun left into Duddingston Road West. Cavalry Park is the 4th turn off on the right (just after the bridge).
From the South (Penicuik)
After driving down the A702 road into Edinburgh, go straight through the two roundabouts and over the bypass and onto the Biggar Road. At the Fairmilehead traffic lights, go straight ahead onto the Buckstone Road. At the next set of shops on your left, take the right hand fork onto Braid Road. Go up and over the hill passing Mortonhall Golf Course on your right. Head down the hill, until you reach a a crossroad with a pedestrian island. At this island, turn right and along the 60mph road, past Braids Golf Course (right) and Craigmillar Park Golf Course (left). Head past the driving range and continue along that road as far as possible. Right at the end of the road, turn left and follow signs for Cameron Toll Shopping Centre. Go past the shopping cengtre with it on your left and take the second exit at the roundabout that follows, heading to Newcraighall. Continue on that road, past Pefermill Playing Field and the next set of traffic lights, tun left into Duddingston Road West. Cavalry Park is the 4th turn off on the right (just after the bridge).
From the West (Glasgow)
Head along the M8 into Edinburgh and find signs for Hermiston Gate. At the Hermiston Gate roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the Edinburgh City Bypass. Head along this and take the 3rd exit along this road (this should take about 10 mins to get to). This is the Lothianburn exit, not long after the Dreghorn exit. At the top of the exit at the roundabout take the smooth left (the sharp left takes you into a bus waiting area!) and up the Biggar Road. At the Fairmilehead traffic lights, go straight ahead onto the Buckstone Road. At the next set of shops on your left, take the right hand fork onto Braid Road.
