Rolling Averages
Rolling averages are commonly used with time series data to smooth out short-term fluctuations and highlight longer-term trends or cycles.

In this case the rolling average shows the averages for periods of three years.  This gives a balance between 'career' stats and seasonal stats (shows form over a three year period and flattens short term peaks and troughs, which isn't done year on year).

Whilst the averages are listed in a top performer style, they do allow individuals to see their own form over the selected 3 year period (see 'Complete Player Summary'.
